Donna "Rosalee" Grubaugh, 77, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.

 

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Pilcher Cemetery, Rural Brownstown, IL, with Dr. Ward Sussenbach officiating. Friends and family may gather at the cemetery at 10:00 A.M. Memorials: Pilcher Cemetery, Rural Brownstown, IL. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. She was born September 24, 1942, in Bond County, IL, the daughter of Benjamin Joseph & Alva (Elkins) Grotts. Married Cecil Herman Ritchey, May 29, 1958 in Vandalia, IL, he passed away March 19, 1986. She married James R. Grubaugh October 29, 1987, at Haley Chapel. She was the owner of Ritchey Painting, Vandalia, IL; and was a member Haley Chapel, Rural Brownstown, IL.; and a current member of the Parkview Free Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL.

 

She is survived by: Husband - Jim Grubaugh, Vandalia, IL; Son - Dwayne Ritchey & Lea Ann, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Kathy Vandyke & Terry, Effingham, IL; a Nephew and Niece that were raised as their own - Larry Clements, Ann Arbor, MI; Niece - Pat Gooding & James, Boise, ID; Step Children - Kim, Nancy, Pam & John; 5 Grandchildren - Christian, Kaitlynn, Mindi, Michelle and Mindy; and 4 Great Grandchildren - Ayden, Kaleb, Blake and Kiley. 

 

Preceded in death by: Parents; First Husband; Brothers - George & Kenny; and Sisters - Evelyn & JoAnn.
