Juna Bell Jones, age 80, of Vandalia, IL passed away Friday, February 6, 2026 at her home in Vandalia, IL.

She was born December 28, 1945 in Shafter, IL, the daughter of Richard Alsbury and Dorothy (Hampton) Alsbury. She married Larry William Jones on July 3, 1999. They spent a total of 33 wonderful years together and built a life of love, faith, and joy. Juna worked at Owens Brockway in Vandalia, IL for 32 years. She was a woman of great faith, actively attending Crown Point Church in Vandalia, IL. She found joy in working in her yard, crafting, shopping, and cooking, often sharing her delicious meals with those she loved. Juna loved animals, and she especially loved her family and cherished spending time with them.

She is survived by her husband; Larry Jones, her children; Vicky (Mike) Diveley, Nathan (Suzie) Jones, and Mariah (Michael) Kolessar, her grandchildren; Tom, Jade, Jazmine, Dylan, Julia, Hallie, Micah, Brooks, and Dahlia, her great grandchildren; Anna, Eljah, Carson, Colin, Cami, Ashlynn, Grayson, Rhett, Huntlee, and one on the way, and her siblings; Barb (Ronni), LeNette (Dave), Paula (Bill), Karen (George), and Vicki (Dave).

She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter; Carol Lewis, her grandson; Caleb Lewis, and her siblings; John (Janet), Mike, Nancy (Kenny), Phyllis, Patty, and Linda (Larry).

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crown Point Church in rural Vandalia, IL, officiated by Pastor Pete LeDuc and Pastor Loren File. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, IL. A visitation will be held prior to the service, also at the church, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorial donations can be made to Second Chance Animal Rescue. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL is in charge of arrangements.
