Thomas "Tom" F. Leigh

Thomas "Tom" F. Leigh Sr., 79, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. 

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 17, 2022, at First Baptist Church Ramsey, Ramsey, IL with Pastor Jeff Shouse officiating. Burial will follow at Pilcher Cemetery, Rural Brownstown, IL with Military Rites by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post #95, Vandalia, IL and Brownstown VFW Post #9770. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1 hour prior to the service, at the church. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Tom was born August 18, 1942, in Cowden, IL, the son of Captain & Betty June (Williams) Leigh. He married Florence Decker in 1965. He was a truck driver; worked at Purina for 9 years; GSI; and was a U.S. Army Veteran. 

Survived by: Sons - Tom Leigh Jr. & friend, Tammy, Oconee, IL; Robert Leigh and Darrel Leigh & Cindy, all of Ramsey, IL; Grandchildren - Stephanie, Joshua, Diana, Troy, Nichole, Angela, Amber, Nicklas and Alexandria; Several Great Grandchildren; Brother - Ronnie Leigh & Kay, Ramsey, IL; and Sisters - Betty Moreland, Sandra Cook, Connie Warburton and Barbara Smith, all of Ramsey, IL, Susie Miller, Vandalia, IL, Dana Baker, Cowden, IL, and Diane Miller & Meredith, Blue Mound, IL. 

Preceded in death by: His Parents; and Sister - Carol Dever.
