Mark Miller was born in Vandalia, Illinois, where he currently lives, and he graduated from Vandalia Community High School in 1958. He went on to attend Greenville College in 1962 and Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 1963. Mark remains very involved with the day-to-day operations of Miller Funeral Homes. He is a member of Masonic Lodge -Temperance #16, Vandalia Park district president, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Vandalia. In his spare time, Mark enjoys model railroads, antique cars, golf, and tennis.


Abbie, the daughter of Craig and Kathy Collins, joined our staff in September of 2022. She is a graduate of Central A&M High School (Class of 2015) and of SIU Carbondale with a degree in Mortuary Science (Class of 2019). Abbie now lives in Vandalia.


Casey graduated from Vandalia High School in 2006 and Madisonville Community College in 2008 with a degree in business administration. She lives in Vandalia with her husband, Bryce, and their 2 daughters, Brylee and Carlee. Casey is an assistant coach for the Fayette County Freedom 8U softball team and volunteers in the children’s ministry and office duties at The Way Church of Fayette County. In her free time, she enjoys watching her girls play sports, camping, running, and baking.


Michael graduated from Moweaqua High School in 1984. He then received a B.S. from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1988 and a degree in Mortuary Science from SIU Carbondale in 1989. Michael married Laura (Weatherford) in 1989, and they have 2 children, Breck and Paige. Michael is very involved in many school and church activities. He serves as Chairman of the Moweaqua Golf Course Board, Dewitt Savings Bank Board of Directors, and The Little Theatre on the Square Board of Directors. He was President of the Moweaqua Park District for over 30 years and served as Chairman of the Central A&M Foundation. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing golf.


Craig Collins grew up in Newton, Illinois, and joined the staff of Seitz Funeral Home in 1990. He graduated from SIU Carbondale with a degree in Mortuary Science in 1989. Craig married his wife, Kathy, in 1994, and they live in Assumption. Craig enjoys following his children with their different activities and coached Central A&M sports for several years. Craig is very involved in community activities and is a founding member of the Assumption Community Pride Association and Owner of 1905 Brewing Company.


Paige, the daughter of Michael and Laura Seitz, joined the family business in April of 2020. Paige married Zachary Ludwig in 2022; both are graduates of Central A&M High School, Class of 2015. They welcomed their daughter, Stella, in late 2024. Paige received her B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2018 and a degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 2020. Paige lives in Moweaqua where she serves as a Deputy Coroner for Shelby County. She is the Central A&M High School Girls Track & Field Coach, serves on the Moweaqua Township Zoning Board, and serves as Recruitment Supervisor for her alumni chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority at Illinois Wesleyan University.


Zachary grew up in Assumption, Illionois, and joined the staff of Seitz Funeral Homes in 2024. Zach and Paige married in 2022, both graduates of Central A&M High School, Class of 2015. Zach went on to graduate from Illinois State University with a B.S. degree in Finance and a B.S. degree in Accounting, Class of 2020. He currently attends the DMACC Mortuary Science Program and will graduate this summer. Zach lives in Moweaqua, where he enjoys playing golf and serves on the Board of the Central A&M Foundation.


Hannah grew up in Tuscola, Illinois, and graduated from Tuscola High School, Class of 2021. She then went on to SIU Carbondale to obtain a degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Service in 2025. She is currently working as an apprentice to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
