Geraldine Claire "Jerri" Hadley, age 92, of Vandalia, IL passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Willowbrook of Vandalia.

Jerri was born July 19, 1933 in Loogootee, IL the daughter of Nelson Emery and Evelyn Claire (Tarr) O'Dell. She married Louis Manley on May 24, 1952. Together they had five children, Tony (Jenny) Manley, Trudy (Jeff) Petrowich, Terry (Shirley) Manley, Kent (Maggie) Manley, and Lisa (Rodney) Schoonover. Louis passed away on June 16, 1994. She later married Larry Hadley on February 27, 1999. She is survived by his children, Les Hadley, Shane (Jill) Hadley, Jay (Tami) Hadley, and Bev Hadley. Larry passed away on October 1, 2004. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Evelyn O'Dell; husbands, Louis Manley and Larry Hadley; grandsons, Kris Hetzer, Randy Manley, Byron Manley, Wesley Bohm; five sisters; and one brother.

Jerri enjoyed doing many things over the years, including, traveling, reading, crafting, sewing, quilting, crocheting, ceramics and gardening. She used to have a large garden and loved tending to her flowers. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Jerri was a member of Christ Tabernacle Church in Herrick, and she was most passionate about her church. She was a very faithful person and she faithfully served others throughout her life. She enjoyed baking for her friends and family. She also would visit friends who were in the nursing home. She was very hospitable, and always willing to serve others in any way she could.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Christ Tabernacle Church in Herrick, IL with Bishop Thomas Suey officiating. Burial will follow at Ramsey Cemetery in Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service time at 12:00 pm on Saturday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Christ Tabernacle Church.  Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL is in charge of arrangements.
