She was born February 26, 1963, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Melvin Dale, Sr. & Betty Jean (Grisham) Hoxsey Helm. Married John Andrew Saxon on March 4, 2017, in Vandalia, IL. She worked at Conagra, in St. Elmo, IL.

She is survived by: Father - Melvin Hoxsey, Sr., Hillsboro, IL; Husband - John Andrew Saxon, Brownstown, IL; Daughter - Brandi Hefley & Kevin Durant, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Joel and Delaney Rhodes; Brothers - Melvin D. Hoxsey, Jr. & Leslie, Hillsboro, IL and Kevin & Allen Lane, Brownstown, IL; and Sisters - Brenda Duff & Lyndell, Vandalia, IL, Rhonda Steiner & Keith, Mulberry Grove, IL, Deana Clark, Hillsboro, IL, Cindy Haney & Michael, Troy, MO and Mary Koch, St. Elmo, IL.
