Stephanie L. Carter, 49, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020, at her home in Vandalia, IL.

She was born September 25, 1970, in Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, NC, the daughter of Charles David & Lynn (Lunceford) Brown. She was formerly employed at Brockway and the Vandalia Moose Lodge, Vandalia, IL and was a former member of Vandalia Women of the Moose. Stephanie loved her pets, especially dogs, gardening, and flowers.
She is survived by: Mother - Lynn Brown, Radcliff, KY; Special Friend - Kurt Allen, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Chad Brown & Renee, Vandalia, IL and Jake Willis & Kara, Paris, Texas; Daughter - Jessica Bays & Dustin, Peoria, IL; Sisters - Amy Lenderman & Barry, Brandenburg, KY and Brandi Bolyard & David, Vandalia, IL; Several Grandchildren; and Nieces - Kourtney and Hailey.
Preceded in death by: Father.
