Russell E. "Rusty" Adams, 56, of Shelbyville, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Shelbyville Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Shelbyville, IL.

Services will be held at a later date in Dothan, Alabama. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.millerfh.net.

He was born July 18, 1965, in Memphis, TN, the son of Robert Ray & Peggy Jean (Pierce) Adams. He worked as a Freelance Mechanic and loved going fishing with his family.

He is survived by: Son - Gene Adams, Saint Elmo, IL; Brother - Charles R. "Bobby" Adams, Dothan, AL; and Several Nephews & Nieces.

Preceded in death by: His Parents; Wife- Donna; Daughter - Ashley Adams; and Sisters - Renee and Becky.
