Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL with Masonic Rites at 8:00 PM Burial will be at a later date at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Shobonier, IL. He was born January 31, 1952, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Dale Ernest & Jenean June (Harris) Torbeck. Married Deborah Lynn Ackerman, July 26, 2008, Indianapolis, IN.  “Torbs” worked out of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 653 Union, Centralia, IL.  Member of  Immanuel Lutheran Church, Augsburg, IL , Temperance Lodge # 16 AF & AM, York Rite Bodies, Ainad Temple Shrine, E. St. Louis, IL, and Tin Lizzy Patrol Vandalia Shrine Club, Vandalia, IL.

He is survived by: Wife - Deborah Lynn Torbeck, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Brady Torbeck & Holly, Vandalia, IL and Adam Torbeck & Jennifer, Effingham, IL; Daughters - Carla Torbeck, Hillsboro, IL, Julie Smith & Brent, Brownstown, IL. and MykalaTorbeck & special Friend, Tyler Smiddy, Vandalia, IL ; Grandchildren - Blake, Rachel, Joey, Shayla, Sebastian, Krissy, Alexandria "Lexi" & Evelyn "Evie"; 8 Great Grandchildren; Sister - Vicki Beall, Vandalia, IL; Step-Mother - Marilyn Torbeck, Vandalia, IL; Special Family Friend - Timothy Crowl, Belleville, IL.
