Michael J. VanUytven, 66, of Herrick, Illinois, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Fayette County Hospital ER, Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL with Pastor Matt Philbrick officiating. Burial will follow at Griffith Cemetery, rural Brownstown, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the funeral home in Ramsey, IL. Memorials: To the Family. Michael was born October 15, 1956, in Vandalia, IL, the son of John Paul & Donna L. (Carter) VanUytven. He married Ellen Marie Davison. He was a farmer all his life and loved spending time with his family.
