Mary Anna Elizabeth Crawford, 99, of Effingham, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, in Effingham, IL.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, September 16, 2022, at First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL with Pastor Tom Goodell officiating. Burial will follow at Evans Cemetery in Rural Vandalia, IL, Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, September 16, 2022, one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials: First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 6, 1923, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Edward A. & Mary Elizabeth (Webb) Flack. Married Wilmer Daughtery Crawford on July 2, 1960, in Chatham, IL, he passed away on November 3, 2010. She was a Secretary for the IL Department Of Transportation, in Effingham, IL for 20 years; member of First United Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women both of Vandalia, IL.
She is survived by: Step-Daughters - Janet Markley, Boulder City, NV; Step-Daughter-in-Law Sue Harrison & Larry, Vandalia, IL; Sister - Florence Genaust & Bill, Effingham, IL; 4 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Sisters - Elizabeth Shuemaker and Dorothea Moschenrose; Brothers - Edward and Arthur; Step-Son - Wayne Crawford 1982; Step Granddaughter - Kim 2011.
