Louie W. Warner, 90, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Vandalia Rehab & Health Care, Vandalia, IL.
Graveside Services with Military Rites will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Michael Mohr, officiating. Memorials: Holy Cross Lutheran Church and/or Fayette County Hospice, Vandalia, IL. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. He was born January 2, 1930, in Ramsey, IL, the son of John R. & Erma L. Warner. Married Jean Marie Spurlin on January 12, 1957 in Vandalia, IL, she passed away November 19, 1992, he later married Marjorie Irene Rinkel Graumenz on June 1, 1995. He was a retired Major at Vandalia Correctional Center, Vandalia, IL; US Army Veteran; Member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church; VFW Post 3862; and American Legion Post #95, all of Vandalia, IL.
He is survived by: Wife - Marjorie Warner, Vandalia, IL Sons - Michael Warner & Mary and Matthew Warner, all of Vandalia, IL; Dennis Graumnez & Debbie, Gary Graumenz & Jill, and David Graumenz & Amy, all of Vandalia, IL and Devon Graumenz & Patty, Shobonier, IL; Daughter - Cheryl Pollard & Randy, Vandalia, IL; Brother - Haldon Warner & Betty and Sister - Irene Pope, all of Vandalia, IL; Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren; and Great Great Grandchildren; and Brothers-In-Law - Ted Rinkel & Alice, Farina, IL and Gene Rinkel & Margaret, Champaign, IL.
Preceded in death by: Parents; First Wife - Jean Warner; Brothers - Gary and Harold Warner; Sister - Juanita Kirk and Step Daughter - Shirley White.
