Kay Sue Chase, 73, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at her home in Vandalia, IL.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore, IL and/or Fillmore Sportsman's Club. Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.millerfh.net.

She was born March 25, 1951, in Shafter, IL, the daughter of Bert Alvin & Helen Pauline (Jackson) Harrison. She married Bernard Robert "Bob” Chase on Monday, October 3, 1988, Shafter, IL. He passed away on April 25, 2008. She formerly worked at the Drapery Factory, Crain Packing, Brockway, as an in-home caregiver, and a homemaker. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved her family dearly.

She is survived by: Daughter - Tammy Compton & Todd, Shafter, IL; Granddaughter - Nicole Compton, Vandalia, IL; Brother - E. David Harrison & Cristina "Cris", Shafter, IL.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Brothers - Herbert, Elbert, Dale, and Dean; Sister - Clara.
