Jack Herbert Kreienheder, 80, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at his home in Vandalia, IL.

Jack was born September 13, 1942, in Saint Louis, MO, the son of Herbert & Alma (Benning) Kreienheder. He married Angela M. Russo on February 14, 1969, St. Louis, MO. Jack served his country in the United States Army, was the retired owner/operator of Pump & Pantry and Pioneer Oil both in Vandalia, IL. He was a member of the Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447, Vandalia American Legion Post 95, and the Vandalia Lion's Club. Jack was a graduate of the University of Missouri and a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. As a younger man he was a pilot and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Jack was an avid sportsman, he loved to hunt, fish, spending time on the Vandalia Lake and living life to the fullest.
He is survived by: Wife - Angela M. (Russo) Kreienheder; Sons - Jason Kreienheder & Lindsay, Austin, TX and Mark Kreienheder, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Will, Ireland Grace, and Lucia Blu; Sister - Lois Durham & Woodie, Cadillac, MI.
