Helen L. Sprinkle, 105, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Fayette County Hospital, LTC, Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Robert Francisco, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: First Christian Church, Vandalia, IL.
She was born April 3, 1913, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Roll Benjamin & Bertha Christina (Jackson) Trueblood. Married Lee Roy Sprinkle November 18, 1933 in Sandoval, IL, he passed away January 13, 1996. She was a former Teacher, Homemaker, and Bookkeeper/Clerk at Mabry's Travel Lodge; member of First Christian Church, Vandalia, IL and a gifted musician.
She is survived by: Nephews - Craig Trueblood & Susan, Murphysboro, IL; Max Trueblood & Sue, Rolla, MO; and Joel Trueblood, Colorado; Several Great Nephews & Nieces; Special Caregivers, Great Niece - Monica Fair, Chicago, IL and Great Nephew - Eric Fair & Kathryn, Saint Louis, MO.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Brother - Carl Trueblood; Sisters - Effie Jackson Denton, Blanche Kesler and Hetty Fair; and Nephew - Rick Fair.
