Gloria E. Rollinger, 95, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at St. James Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL with Pastor Brad Frye officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 25, 2021, 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials: St. James Lutheran Church, and/or Fayette Co. Y.M.C.A. Building Fund, both of Vandalia, IL. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. She was born September 25, 1925, in Opelousas, LA, the daughter of Dwight L. & Rosa Augusta (Hebrard) Thistlethwaite. First married Charles William Barenfanger July 30, 1949 in Baton Rouge, LA, he passed away December 12, 1976, later married Hans Johann  Rollinger M.D. on March 8, 1983, Vandalia, IL, he passed away October 27, 2011. She was a Homemaker; a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

She is survived by: Sons - Charles Barenfanger & Linda, Vandalia, IL, Walt Barenfanger & Paula, Mulberry Grove, IL and Chris Barenfanger, San Pedro, Belize; Step-Daughters - Ulli Munroe, Ocala, FL, Doris Motz, Vienna, Austria and Tori Whitfield, Navarre, FL; Grandchildren - Christa Barenfanger, Mulberry Grove, Eric Barenfanger and Elizabeth Barenfanger, both of Vandalia, IL and Wyatt Barenfanger, San Pedro, Belize; Step Grandchildren - Nick Meyer, Molly Wagoner and Sara Whitten, all of Vandalia, IL; 9 Step Gt. Grandchildren; and Sister - Gretchen Gottfried, Baton Rouge, LA.

Preceded in death by: Her Parents; and 2 Husbands.
