Frank E. Croasdale, 81, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020, at his home in Vandalia, IL.
Graveside services with Military Rites by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post #95 & Brownstown VFW Post #9770 will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 18, 2020, at Mother of Dolors Catholic Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with Father Scott Snider officiating. Memorials: Fayette Co. Cancer Fund, Fayette Co. YMCA, and/or Shriners Hospitals for Children. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 23, 1939, in Decatur, IL, the son of Glenn V. & Clara Marie (Leipski) Croasdale. Married Norma Croasdale on January 8, 1993, she passed away May 3, 2006. He was retired from Caterpillar, Decatur, IL; US Army Veteran; Member of Temperance Lodge # 16, A.F.A.M. Vandalia, Ainad Temple Shrine, E. St. Louis, IL, Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447, and Fayette Co. YMCA, Vandalia, IL. Frank loved to hunt and fish and spending time with his grandchildren, even teaching them how to swim.
He is survived by: Step-Son - Dewayne Cearlock & Lisa, Vandalia, IL; Step-Daughter - Ann Lash, Vandalia, IL; Several Grandchildren - Several Great Grandchildren - Several Great Great Grandchildren.
