Edith A. Haseley, 79, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at SBL Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL with Pastor Michael Mohr officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 15, 2022, 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials: Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Friends & Families of Fayette Co. Hospital and/or Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. She was born December 2, 1942, in Fayette County, Shafter Township, IL, the daughter of William Christian & Pearl Evelyn (Freitag) Haseley. She was a retired Registered Nurse at Fayette Co. Hospital, Vandalia, IL; Member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church; Holy Cross Ladies Aid Society; Illinois Sheriff's Association; President of Families That Care at Fayette County Hospital, LTC; and a VCHS Alumni Coordinator.
She is survived by: Brother - Martin Haseley & Sharon, Farina, IL; Sisters - Freda Beccue, Altamont, IL and Julia Quick & Roger, Farina, IL; and Several Nephews & Nieces.
Preceded in death by: Her Parents; Brothers - Edgar Haseley, 2021 and Dale Haseley 1948.
