Barbara A. Tedrick, 79, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at her home in Vandalia, IL.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Mother of Dolors Catholic Church, Vandalia, IL, with Father Seth Brown and Pastor Bruce Sasse, officiating. Burial will follow at Maxey Cemetery, Rural Smithboro, IL. Memorials: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Fayette County Hospice and/or Columbus Baptist Church, Mulberry Grove, IL. She was born March 22, 1943, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Earl & Telsie Pauline (Dillard) Morrison. She married Richard W. Tedrick on December 30, 1995 in Fayette County, IL. She was a talented cake decorator and worked at Katie’s Crafties. Barbara also worked as a Teachers Aid; Homemaker and was a former board member of Southwestern Electric for more than 30 years. Barbara was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ramsey, IL and Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by: Husband - Richard Tedrick, Vandalia, IL; Son - Kris Adermann & Mistie, Ramsey, IL; Daughter - Michelle Adermann-Neely & Matt, Springfield, IL; She also raised her nieces Becky Bauerle, Teresa Wyatt and Bobby Burdette.
Brothers - John Henry Morrison & Rose, Taylor Springs, IL and Bud Morrison & Carol, Vandalia, IL; Sister - Rosa Lee Haller, Taylor Springs, IL; Step-Daughters - Sherry Lofland, Vandalia, IL and Judy Links & Gene, Mulberry Grove, IL; Grandchildren - Kristen Newell, Kara Neely-Conklin, Kyle, Kolten and Kendell Adermann, Joshua Lofland, Shannon Peterson, Nathan, Brennon and Braeden Links, BriAnne Randall; 14 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Her Parents; Step Father Otto Hubbard; Brothers- Guy and Clifford Morrison; and Sister- Wanda Earlene Burdette.
