William E. Sanders, 80, of Fillmore, IL, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016, at his home in Fillmore, IL.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 1, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Fillmore, IL, with Jim Michael, officiating. Burial will be in Rosamond Grove Cemetery, in Pana, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Fillmore, IL. Memorials: Wounded Warriors.

He was born March 28, 1936, in Ramsey, IL, the son of Lester Earl and Orpha Faye (Williams) Sanders. He married Glenna Fern Bland on July 6, 1956, in Nokomis, IL. He was a US Army Veteran; a Truck Driver - former Owner/ Operator of Sanders Trucking and a former employee of Firestone.

He is survived by: Wife - Glenna Sanders, Fillmore, IL; Son - Kenneth Sanders & Deanna, Bingham, IL; Daughter - Kristal Lewis & Bob, Fillmore, IL; 9 Grandchildren - Jade, Kyle, Haley, Katelyn, Brooke, Aaron, Kayla, William & Jeffrey; and 2 Great-Grandchildren - Paige & Christian.

Preceded in death by: Parents; 1 Son - Billy, 2014; 2 Brothers; and 2 Sisters.
