Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Doug Wodtka, officiating. Burial will follow at Morton Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Haley Chapel United Methodist Church, Rural Vandalia, IL.

He was born May 12, 1926, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Wallace L. & Alice Roosevelt (Oglesby) Morton Brown. Married Norma Jean Williams on October 8, 1949, Vandalia, IL. He was a farmer; Retired employee of IL Dept. of Transportation; and a member of Haley Chapel United Methodist Church, Rural Vandalia, IL.

He is survived by: Wife - Norma Jean Morton, Mattoon, IL; Son - Johnny Bill Morton & Donna, Charleston, IL; Daughter - Janey Morton, Indianapolis, IN; and 1 Grandson - Jonathan Morton & Julianne.

Preceded in death by: Parents; 1 Sister - Fairy Fogler.
