Wanda Kay Berner, age 73, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Effingham Healthcare and Senior Living in Effingham, IL.

Wanda was born October 27, 1952 the daughter of Wilbur LeRoy Burner and Norma Jean (Lambert) Berner in Pana, IL.

She is survived by her brother; James Berner, sister-in-law; Helen Stanley, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Richard Berner, and Robert Berner, and her sisters; Beverly Sidener, Susan Richardson, and another sister in infancy.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Ramsey, IL, officiated by Matt Philbrick. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL is in charge of arrangements. Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.millerfh.net.
