Virginia L. McGraw, 76, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, in Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Saint Louis, MO.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 3, 2016, at First Church of God, Vandalia, with Pastor Tom Farris officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 3, 2016 * before the service at the Church. Memorial: Fayette County Retired Teachers Association * Scholarship Fund.

She was born, June 6, 1940, in Centralia, IL, the daughter of Walter & Virginia (Black) Wilson and raised by foster parents, Carroll & Daisy Simmons. Married Richard R. Fiscus, June 12, 1963, he passed away. Married Robert J. McGraw, March 16, 1991, he passed away May 4, 2008. She was a retired Teacher from Brownstown Elementary School. A member of First Church of God, Vandalia, IL and IL Retired Teachers Assn.

She is survived by: 2 Daughters - Cristina Harrison & David, Vandalia, IL and Cynthia Rhodes & Dean, St. Clair, MO; 4 Sisters - Pat Espy & Paul, Cerro Gordo, IL, Anette Stevens, Decatur, IL, Pam Goff & Danny, Salem, IL and - Ruth Elliott, Sandoval, IL; Sister-in-law - Barbara Wilson, Kinmundy, IL; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Foster Parents; Husbands; Son - Timothy; Brothers - Robert, Walter & Jim; & 1 Sister - Sue.
