Virginia Helen Rhodes, 99, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023, at her home in Ramsey, IL.

She was born August 26, 1924, in Equality, IL, the daughter of Joseph Robert & Bessie Mae (Strickland) Yeager Hubbs. She married Virgil Otto Rhodes on August 14, 1940, in Wilmington, IL. He passed away on July 4, 1982. She was a homemaker and loved caring for her family.

Survived by: Daughters - Alice Williams, Ramsey, IL, Joyce Milligan & Randy, Ramsey, IL, and Shirley Dial & Jim, Tower Hill, IL; Son - Virgil Rhodes Jr. & Tammy, Vandalia, IL; Daughter-In-Law - Loretta Rhodes, Ramsey, IL; 14 Grandchildren; Numerous Great and Great Great Grandchildren; and Sister - Wanda Glover & Gary, Apple Valley, CA.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Daughter - Doris Heggie; Son - Ronald Rhodes; 2 Sons-In-Law; 7 Brothers; and 3 Sisters.
