Violet M. Autenrieth, 75, of Vandalia, IL, died on Friday, November 23, 2012, at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 30, 2012, at the Parkview Free Methodist Church in Vandalia, IL with Pastor John Glennon and Dr. Ward Sussenbach, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, in Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, and 1 hour before the service at Parkview Free Methodist Church. Memorials: Parkview Free Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL. She was born March 23, 1937, in St. John, KS, the daughter of Thomas and Beulah (Scarbrough) Andrew, later adopted by Paul Mathias and Bertha Ozelle (Andrew) Adams. She married Orland Newton Autenrieth on September 09, 1956, in Sedalia. MO. She was a member of Parkview Free Methodist Church. Violet was a retired bookkeeper for Vandalia Leader-Union, Greenville College and Kerns AG Services, Inc. She is survived by husband, Orland Autenrieth of Vandalia, IL; Son: David O. Autenrieth, Los Angeles, CA; Daughters: Cynthia Autenrieth, Vandalia, IL and Janice Sullivan, Mattoon, IL; Brothers: Hubert, Vernon and Ivan Andrew, all of Idaho; Sisters: Bertha Meyers, MT, R. Jane Mewes,IL and Janice Faye Scott,NE; Grandchildren: David Michael and John Levi Autenrieth and Jay Michael Sullivan. Preceded in death by Birth Parents, Adopted Parents and 2 Brothers.
