Victor "Darrell" Cole, 61, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Ramsey Christian Church, Ramsey, IL with Pastors Mark Noyes and Leon Goff officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, on Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations to be made to the family, to help cover final expenses, or to Liberty church. He was born October 14, 1962, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Leonard & Murle Jean (Prater) Cole. He married Marci Ann McQueen on February 18, 1994, in Effingham, Illinois. Darrell was a member of Liberty Church in Bingham, IL. He loved to go to church and he played his guitar and sang every Sunday. He would sing a lot of his original music. He was a musician and sang and played guitar in various bands over the years, and even made his own CD. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He loved his dogs, Rozy and Sassi. In his passing, Darrell was able to help others through the gift of organ and tissue donation.

Survived by: Mother - Jeanne Cole; Wife - Marci Cole, Ramsey, IL; Daughters - Whitney Poe & Ben, Altamont, IL and Jessica Cole, Missouri; Grandchildren - Brantley Darrell and Gianna GraceLynn Welch and Hallie and Sydney Poe; Brothers - John Cole, Ramsey, IL, Trevor Cole & Jennifer, Herrick, IL, Leonard Cole, Springfield, IL, and Jeremy Cole, Hillsboro, IL; Numerous Nieces & Nephews and Great Nieces & Nephews.
