Obituary
Vernie L. Orsborn, 83, of Oconee, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at HSHS St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 24, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, with Rev. Edmund Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery, Rural Oconee, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, January 24, 2022, at the Funeral home in Ramsey, IL, 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials: Donors Choice, and/or to the family. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.millerfh.net.
Vernie was born June 8, 1938, in Coles County, IL, the son of Lester & Martha (Slyfer) Orsborn. He married Mary Ellen Pauly on February 11, 1965 in East St. Louis, IL. He retired from Beck Construction installing underground cable lines.
Survived by: Wife - Mary Ellen Orsborn.
Preceded in death by: His Parents; 2 Brothers - Richard and Lyle; and 1 Infant Sister.
