Valeria E. Ehrat, 90, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017, in Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor David R. Speers, officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Shobonier, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2017, before the service at the church. Memorials: Holy Cross Lutheran Church and/or Fayette County Hospital LTC Activity Fund.
She was born May 6, 1926, in St. Paul, IL, the daughter of William & Rose (Oertwig) Wollin. Married Fred Cecil Ehrat October 30, 1949 in St. Paul, IL, he passed away December 14, 2011. She was a Homemaker; Member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL; former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Augsburg and St. Paul Lutheran Church, St. Paul, IL.
She is survived by: Son - Dennis Ehrat & Bunny, Brownstown, IL; Grandchildren - Monica Chandler & Dustin, Brownstown, IL; Great Grandchildren - Wyatt & Daisy; and Sister - Viola Knecht, Vandalia, IL.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Daughter - Angela Ehrat; 2 Brothers; 2 Sisters.
