She was born January 10, 1922, in Carlinville, IL, the daughter of Virgil Edgar & Edith Lovetta (Cope) Meece. Married Kenneth Floyd Sparks on November 19, 1948, Piggott, AR, he passed away April 11, 2009. She was a former secretary; homemaker; Sunday School Teacher and was Affiliated with Crown Point Church, Rural Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: Son - Steve Sparks & Amy, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Deborah Roberts & Joe, Whitehouse, OH; Grandchildren - Chris Mason, Springfield, IL and Amy Calhoun & Dustin, Vandalia, IL; Great Grandchildren - Noah, Will, Erin, Allie & Fern.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; and Infant Brother - Earl Virgil Meece.
