Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wed., February 29, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL , with the Pastor Carl Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, in Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tues., February 28, 2012 and 1 hr. before service on Wed., 2/29/2012 at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Shriners Hospital For Children. She was born May 12, 1944, in Mulberry Grove, IL, the daughter of Harry Elmo and Adele Josephine (Jett) Rogier. She married Elden E. "Gene" Hicks, February 23, 1985 in Ramsey, IL. Sue was a retired Bookkeeper for Fayette County Highway Department and a member of Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, IL. She is survived by Husband:Gene Hicks of Vandalia, IL, Beloved Boxer Dog: Sadie, Step-Son: Gene Hicks II of Temecula, CA, Step-Daughters: Gena Carter & Gordon and Crysti Hicks both of Ramsey, Lisa Hicks of Decatur, IL, Sister: Sally Bone of Champaign, IL.
