Stephen A. Taylor, 61, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at his home in Vandalia, IL.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M., July 22, 2023, with lunch at 12:00 P.M. Noon; at Hawg Diner, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Second Chance Animal Rescue. Stephen was born March 21, 1962, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Edward D. & Donna B. Taylor. He worked for both the Vandalia and Greenville Taylor Ready Mix plants, eventually running the Greenville plant. Stephen currently was a self-employed contractor.

Stephen is survived by: Mother - Donna B. Taylor, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Kayla Taylor & Dalton Smith, Vandalia, IL; 2 Sons - Joshua Taylor & Chelsea, Benld, IL and Jeffrey Taylor & Kayla Waller, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Anberlin, Kaden, Eli, Kynlee, and Landen; 3 Brothers - Edward Taylor & Kim, Vandalia, IL, Mark Taylor & Teanah, Foley, AL, and Paul Taylor & Katherine, Fillmore, IL; 2 Sisters - Beth Huth & Jack, Slippery Rock, PA and Dana Smith & Joe Dutchik, Maryville, IL.
