Shirley A. Sanders, 75, of Bingham, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015, in Springfield, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Bethel Baptist Church, Rural Vandalia, IL, with Rev. Joe Lawson, Dr. Ben Foxworth & Rev. Larry O'Dell, officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 2 hrs. prior to the service, Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the church. She was born July 15, 1939, in Fayette County, IL, the daughter of Charles L. & Neva L. (Rhodes) Hoffman. Married Donald Sanders on August 14, 1955, in Ramsey, IL, he passed away Feb. 2, 2006. She was a Secretary/Receptionist at the Fayette County Health Dept.; Member of Fayette Co. Farm Bureau Women's Committee Chairman and Bethel Baptist Church. Shirley Loved her family and grandchildren & showed her love for children by teaching Sunday School for over 25 years.

She is survived by: Mother; Sons - Keith Sanders & Dee, Vandalia, IL; Kent Sanders & Karen, Ramsey, IL; Daughter - Kendra Craig & Andy, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Christopher Sanders & Alyssa, Jessica Torbeck & Reid, Kelby Sanders and Sarah & Gracie Craig; Great Grandchildren - Kaitlyn, Preston, Abigail & Isabella.
