Sherry Sue "Grammy" Pummill Chatham, 86, of Vandalia, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, surrounded by her family at her son's home in Loami, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, January 20, 2023, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Doug Cyrus officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL.Memorials: Shriners Hospitals for Children, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or Donor's Choice. She was born November 13, 1936, in Fayette County, IL, the daughter of Joseph Simon and Loca Lucille (Timmons) Pummill. She worked for Skelly's Restaurant, P.N. Hirsch, Cuppy's, Pump N Pantry, and was a homemaker; and a member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia, IL.
