Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL, with Pastor Jerry Bagwell, officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: St. Johns Hospital, Springfield, IL and/or Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL.

He was born May 06, 1931, in Greenville, IL, the son of Leary & Nellie Mae(Sanders) Pittenger. Married Dorothy "Dot" A. Hulskotter on August 08, 1957, Vandalia, IL, she passed away September 5, 2013. He was a retired Farmer, a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL and U.S. Army Veteran serving in Korea.

He is survived by: Sons - Danny Pittenger, Vandalia, IL and Rick Pittenger & Amy, Brownstown, IL; Granddaughter - Ashley Pittenger and Great Grandson - Trevan.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Wife; 2 Brothers.
