Shannon G. Myers, 72, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. Friends and family may gather at the cemetery at 9:30 AM. She was born March 2, 1949, in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Vivian Virginia (Vanatwarp) and Lionel Bowlin, Sr. Married Eddie Gene Myers, Sr. on December 24, 1963 in East St. Louis, IL, he passed away November 6, 1982. She was retired from Imco Container Corp., Vandalia, IL; former member of Ladies Aux. of Eagles Club, and affiliated with First Baptist Church/Unity, Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: Son - Eddie Myers, Jr. & Leona, Aurora, MO; Daughters - Angella Myers, Vandalia, IL, Joyce Hagy & Robert, Ramsey, IL and Regina Myers & special friend Brad Dunaway, Vandalia, IL; and Sister - Frances Elmore & Tom, O'Fallon, MO.

Preceded in death by: Her parents; Husband; 2 Brothers and 1 Sister.
