Sandra L. Ericksen, 79, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, in her home.

An Open House, Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Vandalia Country Club, Vandalia, IL., with Pastor Robert Weaver officiating. Sandy was born October 6, 1942, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Erling & Dorothy (Kolofa) Johnson. She married John Ericksen on August 29, 1964, Chicago, IL. She was a retired Office Manager and Paralegal for over 25 years for a Chicago Law Firm. Sandy was a former member of Vandalia YMCA, Soroptimist International Club and member of Vandalia Country and Golf Club.

She is survived by: Husband – John Ericksen, Vandalia, IL; Son – Chad Ericksen, Cary, IL; Daughter – Traci Stewart & Stacy, Vandalia, IL; Brother – Jeffrey Johnson & Denise. Appelton, WI; 4 Grandchildren – Shelbi and Cody Stewart, Taylor and Tiffanie Ericksen.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Sister-Ginger Rasmussen and Brother-Michael Johnson.
