Russell E. "Rusty" Adams, 56, of Shelbyville, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Shelbyville Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Shelbyville, IL.

He was born July 18, 1965, in Memphis, TN, the son of Robert Ray & Peggy Jean (Pierce) Adams. He worked as a Freelance Mechanic and loved going fishing with his family.

He is survived by: Son - Gene Adams, Saint Elmo, IL; Brother - Charles R. "Bobby" Adams, Dothan, AL; and Several Nephews & Nieces.

Preceded in death by: His Parents; Wife- Donna; Daughter - Ashley Adams; and Sisters - Renee and Becky.
