Ronald Dean Lange, 77 of Shobonier, IL, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Willowbrook Memory Care, in Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rural Shobonier, IL, with Pastor David Hoehler officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Rural Shobonier, IL, with Military Rites by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post #95 & Brownstown VFW Post #9770. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rural Shobonier, IL. Memorials: St. Paul Lutheran Church and/or Willowbrook Memory Care of Vandalia. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Ron was born February 23, 1945, in Rural Shobonier, the son of Henry J. and Edna Ella Anna (Schaal) Lange. He married Brenda Kay Moeller on November 19, 1966 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Ron was a registered land surveyor and engineering technician, and co-owner of Longwell, Lange and Braasch and a farmer. Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rural Shobonier, IL and US Army veteran. He was a loving husband for over 55 years to Brenda, a wonderful father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather to his family, who loved him dearly. Ron enjoyed being outdoors, he was a hard-working Christian man all of his life. Our lives won't be the same without him, but we know he is rejoicing in heaven now.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Kay Lange, Shobonier, IL; Son - Jeff Lange & Sheryl, Kinmundy, IL; Daughter - Kim Figueroa & Frank, Vandalia, IL; 7 Grandchildren and 1 Foster Grandchild; 17 Great Grandchildren with 1 on the way.
