Robert "Bob" W. Clark, 89, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, in Fayette County Hospital, ICU, Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 28, 2019, at First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Terry Westerfield, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with Military Rites by Crawford-Hale American Legion Post 95 & Brownstown VFW Post 9770. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, June 28, 2019, prior to the service, at the church. Memorials: First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.millerfh.net.
He was born January 6, 1930, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Everett Eugene & Myrl Marie (Crotser) Clark. Married Diane Gibbs in 1956, later married Patricia A. Craycroft, February 5, 1994, Vandalia, IL, she passed away December 4, 2000; married Sara D. (Smith) McAllister, June 29, 2002, Vandalia, IL. He was a Retired Regional Finance Mgr. at Caterpillar Tractor Co., Peoria, IL; U.S. Army Korean veteran; and member of First United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 95, Vandalia, IL.
He is survived by: Wife - Sara Clark, Vandalia, IL; Daughters - Lisa Applegate, Peoria, IL and Cindy Beckley & Bob, Durango, CO; Step Children - Susan Casey & Darrel, Vandalia, IL and Brad McAllister, Highland, IL; Granddaughter - Jenna Beckley; Step Grandchildren - Mitch, Tessa, Casey, Braden and Xen; and Several Step Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Wife-Pat; 1 Brother-Kenneth; and 1 Stepson-Scott McAllister.
