Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 29, 2014, at First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Terry Westerfield, officiating. Burial will follow at McInturff Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 28, 2014, at First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL & 1 hr. prior to the service at the church on Friday. Memorials: New Youth Center Project @ First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL. He was born November 02, 1943, in Alton, IL, the son of John Melvin "Bill" & Doris Reta (Coburn) Dugan. Married Linda Lou Mosley on February 01, 1964, Vandalia, IL. He was a Member of First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL; Retired First National Bank Real Estate Appraiser; former Social Studies Teacher at Pana and Vandalia Junior High Schools; Farmer; Previous 20 year member of Vandalia Community Unit School Board of Education; National Work Force Board. He is survived by: Wife - Linda; Sons - David Dugan & Angie, Duane Dugan & Tonna & Darin Dugan & Kara, all Vandalia, IL; Brother - Dan Dugan & Ginny, Quincy, IL; 6 Grandchildren - Kyle, Abby, Micah, Hannah & Lauren Dugan and Evyn Barker; 1 Great Grand Child - Kamren; and Mother-in-law - Geraldine Mosley Hipsher, Vandalia, IL.
