Robert "Bob" Donald Crager, 76, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Crown Point Church, Rural Vandalia, IL with Pastor Pete LeDuc officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the church. Military rites will be conducted at the church. Memorials: Crown Point Church. He was born January 21, 1948, in Chicago, IL, the son of Clarence Alfred & Ruby (Stevens) Crager. He married Jessie Maxine Summers on July 23, 1971, in Vandalia, IL. She passed away on September 10, 2020. He worked in various factories over the years and drove for Putnam Trucking before his retirement. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Crown Point Church. He served his church in many ways for over 30 years.

He is survived by: Sister - Fran O'Kennard, Chicago, IL; Nieces & Nephews; and Great Nieces & Nephews.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Wife; Brothers - Clarence "Al" and Edward "Eddie" Crager; Sisters - Jean Frailey, Eva Mulcahy, and Doris Radcliffe.
