Robert Lee "Bo" Hunt, age 88 of Forsyth, IL, formerly of Ramsey, IL, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026 at The Arc at Hickory Point in Forsyth, IL.

Bo was born September 8, 1937 in Carson Township in Fayette County, IL, the son of Robert and Irene (Leigh) Hunt. He married Janis Roberts on June 24, 1956. They celebrated their 70th anniversary on June 24, 2026. Bo was a member of the First Christian Church in Ramsey, IL. He enjoyed golf, loved his family, and cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. After retirement, he and Janis enjoyed spending winters in Florida for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Janis Hunt of Forsyth, IL; children, Mark (Cynthia) Hunt of Forsyth, IL, Jill (Sean) Riordan of Bridgeton, MO, David (Rae) Hunt of Phoenix, AZ, Alan Hunt of Lovington, IL, and Amy (Jamie) Gahwiler of Decatur, IL; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; brothers, Fred (Judy) Hunt of Nixa, MO and Ben (Peggy) Hunt of Ramsey, IL; sister-in-law, Betsy Hunt of Greensburg, PA, and brother-in-law, Rick Snyder of Bonne Terre, MO; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Stanley "Stan" Hunt, Joe Hunt, and Debbie Kinnear.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service being held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Welch Cemetery, in Ramsey, IL with Pastor Terry Sapp officiating.
