Richard W. Kruenegel, 82, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021, at Fayette County Hospital, LTC, in Vandalia, IL.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 3, 2021, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Ryan Meyer officiating. Richard was born April 22, 1939, in Farina, IL, the son of Walter John Frederick & Ida Lena Barbara (Dippold) Kruenegel. He married Louise Marie Buskohl on September 11, 1976, Mt. Olive, IL. Louise passed away on April 12, 2020. He is a retired Farmer and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Peter, IL.

He is survived by 2 Sisters; Iris Caines, Bloomington, IL and Eunice Schaffer, Jacksonville, FL.

He is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife; Brother-Eugene; and Sister- Dolores Voelker.
