Richard K. Fox, 77, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at SBL Fayette Co. Hospital, Vandalia, IL.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Ramsey Christian Church, Ramsey, IL with Dick Wamsley officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM., 1 hour prior to the service at the church, with a luncheon to follow the service. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, is in charge of arrangements. He was born April 1, 1946, in Waukegan, IL, the son of Bertram & Lula (Miller) Fox. He married Susan V. Proctor in 1975 in Waukegan, IL. He worked in commercial building and union trucking; served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era; was a member of Ramsey Christian Church and the Ramsey American Legion; he was first and foremost an expert pool player and a furniture maker/builder; he enjoyed riding motorcycles and building remote control planes; and he was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather; his greatest love was spending time with his family and three kitties.

Survived by: Wife - Susan V. Fox, Ramsey, IL; Son - Michael Fox & Tanna, Fredericksburg, VA; Daughter - Laura Ray & Tim, Hesperia, CA; Step-Son - Keith Jackson & Aimee; Grandchildren - Gabriel Evelyn Fox; Erik Michael Fox, Tessa Layla Fox, Ella Claire Fox, Jacob Brown, Ashlyn Brown, and Nick Ray; Great Grand Child - Sage Maria Fox; Step-Grandchildren – Paisley, Felicity and Kitch; Sister - Berta Johnsen, Sun City, AZ and Special Niece – Teri Proctor.
