Richard "Rich" E. Denning, 66, of Jacksonville, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, IL, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Prairie Village Healthcare Ctr., Jacksonville, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Rev. Joe Lawson, officiating. Burial at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at the funeral home.

He was born December 31, 1951, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Delmar Franklin "Spud" & Stella Elizabeth "Liz" (Hawley) Denning. He was a graduate of Vandalia Community High School.

He is survived by: Mother - Liz Denning, Vandalia, IL; Brothers - Delmar D. Denning & Donna, Dallas, TX and Mark A. Denning, Vandalia, IL; and Several Nephews & Nieces.

Preceded in death by: Father; and 1 Sister - Nancy Forbes.
