Richard R. "Dick" Bridges, 88, of Saint Elmo, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Aperion Care in Saint Elmo, IL.

He was born July 2, 1933, in East St. Louis, IL, the son of Harry Edmond & Gladys Marie (Werndle) Bridges. Married Linda Lee Luebbers in 1959 in East St. Louis, IL, she passed away January 8, 2018. He worked as a security guard at Belleville Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL; and was a US Army Veteran-Korean Conflict.

He is survived by: Sons - Rick L. Bridges & Tracie, Nocona Hills, TX and Gregory A. Bridges, Collinsville, IL; Daughter - Lisa Bridges, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Kearslynn Boland, Nicole Bridges, Erica Bridges, Shyla Bridges, Christian Schneider, and Eric Bridges; Several Great Grandchildren; and Brothers - David Bridges & Carol, Shiloh, IL and Doug Bridges & Pam, Belleville, IL.

Preceded in death by: His Parents; Wife; and Brother - Donald Bridges.
