Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 24, at Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Curtis Sweeney, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Church with Masonic Rites at 10:30 A.M. Memorials: Fayette Co. Cancer Fund and/or Shriners Hospitals For Children. He was born July 11, 1957, in Kirksville, MO, the son of Doris (McNear) & Mike Boggs, Brownstown, IL. He was formerly employed at South Central F.S. and Fayette County Hospital Maintenance Dept.. Dickie was a member of the Northside Christian Church, Vandalia. IL, Temperance Lodge # 16, A.F.A.M. Vandalia, IL , Scottish Rite Bodies of Southern Illinois, Belleville, IL, Old National Trail Shrine Club, Vandalia, IL, the Tin Lizzy Patrol of Vandalia and Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447.

He is survived by: Parents - Doris & Mike Boggs, Brownstown, IL; Daughter - LaTisha Paslay & Jason, Vandalia, IL; Son - David Shanks & Amber, Humboldt, IL; Brother - J.
