Richard L. Berner, Sr., 63, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at SBL Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL.

Born July 6, 1959, in Pana, IL, the son of Wilbur Leroy & Norma Jean (Lambert) Berner. Married Helen R. Friesland on March 18, 1980, in Hillsboro, IL. He worked at Poly Pak & Ship Inc. for 5 years.
Survived by: Wife - Helen R. Berner, Ramsey, IL; Son - Richard Berner Jr. & Jennifer, Ramsey, IL; Daughters - Stacy Berner, Ramsey, IL, Ashley Prater & Jeremy, Herrick, IL, Chassity Berner & Cody Smith, Ramsey, IL; 13 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Brother - James Berner & Katherine, Ramsey, IL; Sisters - Wanda Berner, Effingham, IL and Beverly Sidener, Ramsey, IL.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Brother - Robert Berner; Sisters - Susan and Sharon.
