He was born, February 03, 1956, in Pana, IL, the Son of Leonard Roy and Annie (Burrus) Sarver. He married Sheila Sirena Earl on August 07, 1976, in Herrick, IL. He was employed at Wal-Mart in Vandalia, IL; a member of Christ Gospel Church, Decatur, IL and had Pastored several area churches.

He is survived by: Wife - Sheila Sirena (Earl) Sarver, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Josh W. Sarver & Kelly, Virden, IL and Caleb A. Sarver, Ramsey, IL; Brother - James Sarver, Vandalia, IL; Sisters - Nancy Chapman, Decatur, IL; and Geraldine Kirk, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Heather, Alexis, Megan & Sydnee; Great Grandchildren - Kale & Kinsley.
