Philip J. Martell, Jr., 85, of Vandalia, IL, died on Monday, December 19, 2011 in his home. Private Family Services will be held at a later date. He was born on August 19, 1926, in Sun Prairie, WI, the son of Philip John Sr. and Irene (Schernecker) Martell. Philip was a retired Stock Broker & Truck Driver, a WWII Navy Veteran & affiliated with the Catholic Faith. He is survived by Son: Philip J. Martell; Daughter: Paula J. Martell of O'Fallon, MO; Grandson: Christopher Dufaux of O'Fallon, MO; Twin Sister: Joan Anderson of IL. Preceded in death by Parents & 1 Sister.
